These projects were developed by the 2026 cohort of Master's students on the Graphic Design programme at Sint Lucas Antwerp. I had the privilege of supervising these designers in my final year as a lecturer.

Though diverse in subject and outcome, their work shares a common approach. They investigate culture, language, technology, archives, identity, and publishing through research-driven design. Moving fluently between printed matter, digital media, and spatial installations, these designers demonstrate that contemporary graphic design is not defined by a medium but by the questions it asks.

Throughout my years as a designer and educator, I have encouraged students to develop independent, critical, and socially engaged design practices. These projects reflect that ambition. They demonstrate how graphic design can preserve memory, reveal overlooked stories, and generate new perspectives on the world around us.

Together, they offer an inspiring glimpse into a new generation of designers for whom graphic design is a discipline of thinking, not merely a profession of making.
